Database Users -
There are 4 types of users:-
1. Database Administrators - Database Administrator or DBA is the one who manages the complete database management system. DBA takes care of the security of the DBMS, it's availability, managing the license keys, managing user accounts and access etc.
2. Application Programmer or Software Developer - This user group is involved in developing and desiging the parts of DBMS.
3. System Analyst - System Analyst determines the requirement of end users, especially native and parametric end users and develops specifications for transactions that meet these requirements.
-> System Analyst plays a major role in database design, its properties; the structure prepares the system requirement statement, which involves the feasibility aspect, economic aspect, technical aspect etc. of the system.
4. End User - These days all the modern applications, web or mobile, store user data. Applications are programmed in such a way that they collect user data and store the data on DBMS systems running on their server. End users are the one who store, retrieve, update and delete data.
