SECURITIES ISSUES
Threats to System Security
We can say that a procedure surely save the system if it is physically safe, provides the restart/ recovery features etc. The most damaged threats are the bugs and omissions that are occurred by the people. The list of threats in a priority sequence is:-
1) Bugs and omissions.
2) Dishonest employees.
3) Fire.
4) Natural disasters.
5) External attack.
These are described as follows:-
1) Errors/Bugs and omissions are the powerful reason of miscues/mistakes. Because data /information that is entered in a database has no specific record or authorization. Thus can be changed without a trace.
2) Dishonest employees have an easier way to access the system concepts than the outside hackers. Because they attach with their working organizations for a long time and know all about the organization and its tasks.
3) Fire and other manmade disaster destroy the system power, air conditioning and electrical supply
components. Proper planning for safety and protection against such threats is difficult especially in
organization that overall depends on centralized database systems
